Mike Huckabee is a theocrat?

The devalued owner (Charles Johnson) of a devalued blog (Little Green Footballs) is a radical anti-Christian zealot, who believes the average Conservative Christian wants to remake the United States Constitution after the entire Bible, and become a theocracy which would rival the Islamic Republic of Iran.

When in reality, most of our legal system is based on the Bible, Christians believe in a leader accountable to the people, and we believe God has a very important role to play in America, however, we are not pushing for Pastor John Hagee to act like Moses.

Back to the point, Little Green Footballs has posted a recent article calling Governor Mike Huckabee a "theocrat," "extreme fundamentalist," and that Governor Huckabee advocates "Mike Huckabee is on record advocating that the US Constitution be changed to bring it more in line with “God’s standards."

Then the devalued blog, includes an old quote from Mike Huckabee during the 2008 Presidential election :

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/34988_Huckabee_Leads_in_2012_Poll

“I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution,” Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. “But I believe it’s a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that’s what we need to do — to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards so it lines up with some contemporary view.”

Does this mean that Mike Huckabee wants a theocracy? Mike Huckabee wants to build an ark? Does this mean that Mike Huckabee wants to smitten all of the evil Muslims?

Well, no. See, our good pal Charles, forgot to include the context of Huckabee's quote, or even include a link to the quote in question. Well, after a quick search on the Internet, I have found the quote in question, along with the context.

"[Some of my opponents] do not want to change the Constitution, but I believe it’s a lot easier to change the constitution than it would be to change the word of the living God, and that’s what we need to do to amend the Constitution so it’s in God’s standards rather than try to change God’s standards," Huckabee said, referring to the need for a constitutional human life amendment and an amendment defining marriage as between a man and a woman.

Let me get this straight. Governor Mike Huckabee is a theocrat, because he believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman, and that life should be protected. These views are not radical "Christian views", these views represent a majority of Americans. Let us remember, President Bush proposed a Constitutional amendment on traditional marriage, and pro-lifers (who are now a majority) have supported pro-life Constitutional amendments for years.

I guess a majority of Americans are theocrats, especially those which support a United States Constitutional amendment for defending marriage or standing up for the life, when 30 states have defended traditional marriage with Constitutional amendments, and momentum is gaining on the pro-life side.

Little Green Footballs, a blog which even attacks little Jumping in Pools, is nothing more then a liberal, godless, smear machine designed to attack anyone who believes in the Bible, God, our Founders, any Conservative viewpoint, or traditional values for that point. However, this blog believes in accusing people of the worst things, without one ounce or proof, or while touting quotes without proper context.

Little Green Footballs is a disgrace. Worthy of recognition from Dan Rather, his old pal.
