Wasted votes.

523,686 voters supported Bob Barr's campaign for President.
199,314 voters supported Chuck Baldwin's campaign for President.
47,694 voters supported Alan Keyes' campaign for President.
42,426 voters support Ron Paul for President, even though he was not running.

During the 2008 Presidential election, millions of Conservative leaning Americans did not vote because Senator McCain did not meet their standards, millions of Americans were duped into voting for Barack Obama without realizing the dangerous agenda that followed, and hundreds of thousands of idiots supported candidates that stole votes from Senator McCain, leading to a Republican defeat.

813,120 American citizens or 0.62% of the American electorate supported right-of-center candidates that could not win, costing Senator McCain the state of North Carolina and the state of Indiana (26 electoral votes), and helped to secure the election of Barack Obama as the President of the United States.

When the 2012 Presidential election comes about, I wonder if millions of Americans will support the Republican candidate instead of useless candidates or the socialist in chief. Perhaps, those who supported Bob Barr and Chuck Baldwin in North Carolina and Indiana, will rethink their Presidential ballot come 2012, to help defeat the socialist agenda, instead of ushering in a second term.

I've never understood why anyone would vote 3rd party for the White House- I thought a lot of people learned from Perot throwing the election to Slick Willy, but I guess not...

Even if they win, hard to get much done with zero base on capital hill you would think

Are you saying I shouldn't vote for my choice?

Are you saying McCain is/was better than Barr?

PS, third party idiots didn't cause McCain to lose. McCain caused McCain to lose.
