Black GOP candidate for Congress - "Reid needs a History lesson".

NOTE: Check out our interview with Mr. Hayes.

Yesterday, it was reported Senator Reid compared those who opposed the Democratic legislation in regards to health care, are the same as those who defended slavery, and he said so on the floor of the United States Senate. Republicans and Conservatives alike are demanding an apology, as Democrats are reaching a new low in comparing those who are standing for freedom......to those who enslaved men against their will.

Does it surprise me?

No. Considering we have been called terrorists, racists, Nazis, un-American, evil, and accused of supporting a health care system, where the plan for Seniors is "die". It is funny, because the health care plan the Democrats are pushing, will raise the debt, increase taxes, lead to rationing of seniors, the destruction of freedom in the health care market, violates the Constitution, etc. sounds like the evil plan to me.

Senator Reid's ignorance in regards to historical facts is saddening, thus Isaac Hayes, a candidate for the Republican nomination, and soon Republican candidate for Congress in Illinois second congressional district, in which he will face off against the corrupt Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., released a brief press release schooling Senator Reid.

CHICAGO - December 8, 2009: The following statement was released today by Rev. Isaac C. Hayes, the GOP nominee for Congress in IL-2, and opponent of Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) in response to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev) comparing opponents of heath care reform to opponents of the emancipation of slaves:

Harry Reid’s rush to use race in the health care debate is exactly why we should not rush this bill” said Hayes. “History reveals that it was Mr. Reid’s Party that opposed the emancipation of slaves and the Republican Party that was the vanguard of freedom. A brief review of history will record the Republican President Abraham Lincoln abolishing slavery and the Republican Caucus voting in a larger percentage for Civil Rights legislation than their Democratic counterparts. It is quite evident Mr. Reid has not read a history book or the bill he wants to force through.”

Isaac Hayes is the real deal, a candidate all Americans should be supporting in his fight against Jesse Jackson Jr., though considering the district is one of the most Democratic in the state, it leaves little room for a good Republican to be elected. However, I can feel a tide turning in America, perhaps Isaac Hayes is apart of that tide.

Senator Reid belongs to the political party of oppression.
Senator Reid belongs to the political party of hate.
Senator Reid belongs to the political party of slavery.
Senator Reid belongs to the political party of weakness.
Senator Reid belongs to the political party that is pushing the destruction of the greatest health care system in the world, along with Capitalism, freedom, the United States Constitution, while using bribes, payoffs, and threats to pass a health care plan no-one wants.

My fellow Conservatives, we must work to defeat Senator Reid next election, and we must work to promote great Republicans such as Isaac Hayes.

Ironic considering it was the Democrats who were against freeing the slaves. Had a Republican said this we would be hearing about it everywhere.
