From the Times Union:
Just in case you packed any of them in your kids’ lunches: Procter & Gamble recalled two types of Pringles Monday after Basic Food Flavors Inc., the company that manufactures the flavoring ingredient hydrolyzed vegetable protein (HVP), recalled several lots of the ingredient because of potential salmonella exposure.Be careful out there, my fellow snack munchers! The Pringles recall applies to Pringles Restaurant Cravers Cheeseburger potato crisps and Pringles Family Faves Taco Night potato crisps with specific “best by” dates. The company says those who purchased the recalled products should discard the product and call P&G for a replacement coupon or refund at 1-877-876-7881.
