Blumenthal Falls Drastically in Polls

In the first poll released since it was revealed that Connecticut Democratic Senatorial Candidate Richard Blumenthal had lied about serving in the Vietnam War his once formidable lead in the polls has all but collapsed. According to Rasmussen, the most accurate of the polls, Blumenthal's share of the vote is only three percent over his Republican challenger in a very, very blue state.

Blumenthal (D): 48%
McMahon (R): 45%
Undecided/Other: 7%

This comes after a poll last week showing Blumenthal leading Linda McMahon by 13%. A drop of 10% after the story broke on Monday. And that was not even after it sunk in. I wonder if he'll fall underwater when the fallout comes about.
