Interview With Terresa of NoisyRoom.net

Jumping in Pools is excited to present the 49th interview in our on-going series. Today, JiP interviews Terresa of NoisyRoom.net, a self-described Constitutional Conservative site. Intelligent and poignant, NoisyRoom does a great just covering the news. Thanks to Terresa and for the interview:

Did you start noisyroom.net, and if so, why?

I did start NoisyRoom.net. The blog was started shortly after 9/11/2001 as an outpouring to wake America up concerning radical Islamofascism. An outlet to get real news to Americans that was not sanitized or filtered through the government or the media. Since then, we have morphed into a Constitutional Conservative site focusing on bringing America back to the principles of the Constitution and the Founding Fathers.

Do you believe that this administration is intruding too much into the average person's privacy?

I certainly do and I further believe it is planned and by design. I view the current administration as a Progressive/Marxist hybrid that believes the government and elitists know what is best for America and that they believe all power should be vested in the government and our leaders. Virtually all our rights are being abridged by this government and violated to one degree or another and I believe it will only get worse.

What are your biggest concerns about the Health Care Bill that the President is pushing through Congress?

My biggerst concerns are as follows:

a. Further bankrupting the country and the American people.
b. Raised tax burdens on individuals.
c. Rationed health care.
d. Ubber databases which will basically know all about you and that info. will be shared with other agencies.
e. The classification of all Americans as 'civil servants' and subjected to the rules that are used concerning this status.
f. Punitive actions through the government and its agencies such as the IRS.
g. The control and monitoring of all Americans.

Do you believe that Republicans will make gains in Congress this election year?

I do believe they will, but how much is to be seen. If they adhere to Conservative principles and listen to the people and the Tea Party movement, they will win by a landslide in upcoming elections. If not, a third party may arise diluting the results. It's their choice - they need to make the right one, the Constitutional one.

It was revealed recently that Majority Leader Harry Reid made racist comments about then-candidate Obama. Do you believe Reid's apology is enough, and if not, what should happen to Reid?

His apology is not enough, but his removal should be through the votes of the American people. It should not be at the whim of pandering politicians looking for popularity by lynching others. They all have skeletons in their closets. I deplore Harry Reid and will be very glad when he is no longer in office, but it needs to be done right.

What do you believe to be our most important right as Americans?

Our most important rights are all found in The Bill of Rights and The Constitution. Having said that, my firm belief is that our most important right is the right to bear arms. Without that right, all others become a moot point.

Anything more you'd like to add?

Just that it is time for a major purge in both parties and a renewed commitment to the ideals of our Founding Fathers needs to be embraced. Americans need to be able to look evil in the eye and know it for what it is. Not downplay it, not make excuses for it - confront it and deal with it. Our very survival depends on it...
