Dwyane Wade Compares Losing 2 Games in a Row to 9/11

Dwyane Wade, who recently signed with Miami, joining forces with Chris Bosh and LeBron James, doesn't seem like a bad guy...but man, he sure is a moron.  In a statement about the upcoming season with the Heat, Wade said, "If we lose a couple in a row this season, it will be like the World Trade is coming down again."  How he could think that losing two games in a row is comparable to three thousand men and women being murdered is beyond understanding.  Also, Mr. Wade, it was called the World Trade Center; thousands of people lost their families there.  Learn it.

Update:

The website I cited slightly misquoted Wade.  His actual quote reads, "Plus, there's going to be times when we lose 2-3 games in a row, and it seems like the world has crashed down. You all are going to make it seem like the World Trade is coming down again..."
Stupid

Follow the link. The quote has been corrected.

The parentheses means that Wade did not actually include the word "center." I used his actual quote.

What a moron. Then again, I've never expected much from athletes.

Upon reading his actual quote he is not comparing losing to the world trade center but said others would compare the two. While still not a smart thing to say, it is not even close to as bad.
