2009 Budget vs. 2011 Budget.

President Bush hasn't submitted a United States federal budget in two years, however, I believe a comparison between his last budget and Obama's just announced budget is needed, because our Democratic counterparts have skyrocketed the United States federal budget over the past two years, something you cannot blame President Bush for.

2009 Bush budget (all numbers estimated).

Total revenue - $2.7 trillion.
Total expenditures - $3.1 trillion.
Deficit - $407 billion.
Debt - $5.6 trillion.

2011 Obama budget (all numbers estimated).

Total revenue - $2.6 trillion.
Total expenditures - $3.8 trillion.
Deficit - $1.6 trillion.
Debt - $15.1 trillion.

Differences.

Total revenue - down $100 billion (tough economic situation, plus revenues will continue to plunge, considering Obama is raising taxes on Businesses, Individuals, Oil Companies, etc.).

Total expenditures - up $700 billion (no excuse for that).

Deficit - up $1.2 trillion (Bush deserves some blame for that, but Obama deserves more - he voted for TARP, pushed the Stimulus, etc.).

Debt - up $9.5 trillion (once more, Bush deserves some blame for that, but Obama deserves more).

President Bush deserves some blame for our economic pitfalls, but the collective works of President Clinton (housing program led to crisis) and President Obama (idiotic spending continues to drive on crisis) deserve the blame for our economic pitfalls. Their actions speak louder than words, leaving America in a deep recession with a spending hangover.

Not to mention, congressional Democrats and President Obama have enacted several pieces of legislation costing hundreds of billions of dollars, in addition to increasing budgets in most if not all departments, while proposing trillions upon trillions more of government spending that failed in the legislature.

There is no comparison between President Bush or President Obama - Obama is one hundred times worse.

I wish the main stream media would call Obama out on this but they remain conspicuously (complicitly) silent.
