Israel, where art thou?

It has been a few months since I last pondered the situation in Iran and how it relates to America and Israel. After reading the news this morning, which includes an article on Iranian defiance and the acceleration of their Nuclear program, I have a feeling the time has come to discuss the Middle East once more.

National defense has been a topic of little discussion over the past twelve months, despite our increased involvement in Afghanistan, one failed terrorist attack and one successful terrorist attack, due to the horrific domestic agenda of congressional Democrats and President Obama in Washington, but a time has come to draw a line in the sand and to focus on the most important topic of them all, protecting the homeland (America and Israel).

Our lone friends in the Middle East, have been neglected, forgotten and ignored over the past twelve months, as Jewish organizations across America are not pleased with President Obama and his lack of commitment or resolve in regards to Israeli defense.

That said, we have serious problems with Iran. Over the past several months, Iran has killed dozens of freedom fighters, squashed freedom of speech and freedom of the press, while treating their own citizens like maggots under a rug. Iran is now under the dominion of a complete dictator who is devoted to the destruction of Israel and America, something we cannot sweep under the proverbial rug.

This past week has been dangerous, as Iran launched their first rocket into space and they're moving ahead on efforts to create a Nuclear weapon. This is no longer something we can ignore, Israel or America, perhaps both need to attack Iran's nuclear program, before it goes farther than it already has.

Considering the current leadership of America (and possible Presidential candidates for 2012), I am begging Israel to do something about Iran, because millions of Israeli and American lives are in the balance. Iran is going to attack us if she is not brought down, nothing would make me happier than to see Prime Minister Netanyahu the once to do so.

Israel, where art thou? We need your courage and dedication, to protect the lives of millions of innocent Israelis and Americans, time is running out.....you're our last hope.
