2008 Presidential election vs. 2010 Polling data.

As painful as the 2008 Presidential election was, in order to understand the declining approval of and support for President Obama and his administration, we must examine the past, to realize the results of the present. While it could sound confusing, it is rather simple (when combined with three shots, numerous polls from dozens of polling companies, while eating crab cakes) to understand the decline, and the Main Stream Media attempt to hide the decline.

2008 Presidential election

Obama - 28 states and the District of Columbia were carried, resulting in 365 votes in the Electoral College. Also, Obama received 69,456,897 votes or 52.92% of the overall vote.

McCain - 22 states were carried, resulting in 173 voters in the Electoral College. Also, McCain received 59,934,814 votes or 45.66% of the overall vote.

North Carolina and Indiana voted for Obama, however, Obama received less than 50% of the overall vote in both states.

2010 Polling data

According to a just released poll from Rasmussen Reports, Obama's approval rating is at 46%, while 53% of Americans disapprove of his job performance, reversing the results of the 2008 Presidential election, and performing at a level President Bush never reached during his entire first term in office.

As we learned a few weeks ago, just 50% of Americans would prefer President Obama over President Bush, 44% of Americans would rather have President Bush for a third term, than Obama as our current Commander in Chief. Considering this polling data was from a liberal firm. the results are even more surprising.

Also, Bob McDonnell was elected Governor of Virginia with 58.61% of the vote, Obama received just 52.63% of the vote during the 2008 Presidential election, meaning the supposed "political shift of 2008 in Virginia", was all a fluke, Virginia is a solid Republican state, and Obama is losing it without question.

Conclusions

Obama is no longer the popular President, he is hated across America, anti-Obama feelings are stronger than his support from the left wing base, all of his positions and stances are against the will of the American electorate, and congressional Democrats are being left to suffer the consequences of his agenda, causing some to join the Republican caucus. Virginia, Colorado, Indiana, North Carolina, and other states which supported Obama in 2008, are beginning to regret their support of Obama, and appear to be heading towards their original Republican positions in time for the 2010 elections.

Overall, the American people have come to realize the harsh truth, Conservatives have been hollering about since Obama was nominated the Democratic nominee (including me, hollering of course), Obama is a radical, a dangerous threat to our foundations and principles as an American nation, and ignorant on economics and National defense related issues.

The bad part is, it took the American people two years to realize the truth. I hope, we don't suffer because of it, and I hope we can reverse the Democratic control of Congress, before it is to late to stop the awful agenda.

I wouldn't say he is "hated across America." He is still popular with Democrats, about the same with Republicans it is non-affiliated voters who have changed their minds. But "hated across America"? Don't think so.
